Silvie Király

In 2006, Silvie Király completed her Magister Iuris at the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. During her studies, she focused on public international law. Several times she participated in international law moot court competitions, namely in the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition held in the Hague in 2003 and in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition held in Washington D.C. in 2004. In 2004, she attended the Summer School of International Criminal Law organized by the Grotius Centre For International Legal Studies, Campus Den Haag. In 2007, she took part in the conference to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the International Criminal Court, held in The Hague. A year before completing her studies, she was enrolled in a one-year study programme in England, at the School of Law, Manchester Metropolitan University, followed by a half-year traineeship at Amy Tsang & Co. Solicitors in Manchester. She joined Vejmelka & Wünsch in 2007 as an associate, with a previous one and a half year’s practice gained in a renowned Prague law firm. Since 2010 she has been a member of the Czech Bar Association. In her practice, Silvie focuses on commercial law, in particular M&A, and on the law of residential and non-residential premises and litigation. She speaks Czech and English.
